Synesthetica by Radiation City – Album Review

“Synesthetica” is a solid album with plenty of variation. The songs are interesting mixes of pleasant vocals, stretched out guitar notes, and some progressive synthesizer additions to fill them out. I personally wasn’t feeling the first couple of songs, but the album picks up around track four and doesn’t disappoint. I would describe it as an indie pop/rock electronic experiment, as each song is clearly influenced by indie pop and has elements of electronic music. It’s a bit sleepy, but overall “Synesthetica” is a great album to help you get work done, as the lyrics are hidden behind layers of happy tones and drum beats. Its lighthearted and fun to listen to, so give it a listen if you like experimental music of the indie pop electronica sort.
