88.5 KURE Ames Alternative has its very own Sports Departement run by Sports Director’s Taylor Mankle and Jared Stansbury who are ready, willing and able to help you join the team. But first a little about what KURE Sports does.
KURE Sports is the premier student run broadcast voice of Iowa State athletics but it doesn’t stop there. All sports shows on KURE discuss sports worldwide. Currently KURE Sports is running four shows (during fall and spring semesters) on a weekly basis; The Sports View Tues 4-6, Max Mike and March Show Wed 5-7, The Clone Zone Thurs 4-6 and The Weekend Pregame Fri 3-5.
KURE Sports also broadcasts live football and basketball home games and is looking to expand into more sports.
If you are at all interested in joining the KURE Sports team don’t hesitate to email the KURE Sports Director at sports@kure885.org . They will get you set up and signed up to attend the mandatory meeting at the begining of the fall semester.
