Electric Guest- “KIN”

November 18, 2019

LA has some big names when it comes to the music industry, but it’s amazing to see LA-based artists with new and upcoming music. Electric Guest’s latest album, “KIN”, is genuinely one of my favorites this school year. If you’re looking for a great indie pop vibe with lo-fi tracks, this is definitely the album for you!

Mini Mansions – “Guy Walks Into A Bar…” REVIEW

September 4, 2019

Let’s just say that Queens Of the Stone Age made an amazing (and quite charming!) band after a break in touring. Since 2009, Mini Mansions has been rockin’ socks off for audiences across the world. Their newest album, “Guy Walks Into A Bar…”, is no exception. Here’s my take on MM’s newest release:

Weezer – The Black Album

July 29, 2019

Overall, I can’t say Black a horrible album. Like I said before, Rivers has some good performances, and throughout the album you can tell he puts some effort into his singing, but meanwhile the music overall just isn’t that groundbreaking or interesting. I would say to try giving it one listen and see how you feel about it after. Pretty much just a mediocre album in the end. But hey, I’m just being honest.

Mac DeMarco – Here Comes The Cowboy REVIEW

May 27, 2019

DeMarco continues moving away from the dreamy sound that has come to define him. The influences of “This Old Dog” are heard clearly on his new release, with many of the songs featured much more honest instrumentation and stripped back songs compared to much of his earlier work. In fact, you could say that the approach of this album is almost too simple at times.
