On Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, KURE hosted its first Terrace Tuesday of the spring semester. The bands that played that night were Soulcage, Toon Smokes, and Counselors of Evil. Many people attended this event, but the real question is what are their thoughts on it?
Ben Kunka, a sophomore in Computer Engineering said his favorite performance was without a doubt Counselors of Evil. His favorite part of the night was moshing! “Dude, I absolutely enjoyed moshing because moshing is fun if you have at least ten people, and everyone was getting into it and jumping into each other, it was really what I needed tonight.”
Mason Tilly, an Aerospace Engineering major, said his favorite band of the night was Soulcage. “I didn’t know this was happening, but I was walking past and I heard this magical sound. I was supposed to go to a little meeting but this is what I ended up doing.”
Egan, a civil engineer, was asked the question about their favorite band that performed at Terrace Tuesday, and he responded saying “I was only here for the last band” (Counselors of Evil). A quick final question about the overall enjoyment of Terrace Tuesday was responded with “Yeah I really enjoyed it. I had a great time”.
Samantha Hayes, an Animal Science major, went into depth about their favorite performance “I honestly didn’t know this was happening. I just heard distant jazz, and the sound of the saxophone floored me. I love the saxophone man. As a former trombone player, I have disdain and admiration towards people that play the saxophone”. When asked about her enjoyment of Terrace Tuesday, she described the show as
“It was great, it was a massive groove” she also said that “This S**t was great”.
