“Temporary Love” is The Brinks’ debut EP, consisting of six brilliantly composed songs. The Brinks are two very talented guys, who have crafted an impressive record. All the songs hold their own on the album, each one different, yet they all come together to create a collectively impactful sound. “Temporary Love”, the title track, starts off the EP right with beautiful lyrics and a catchy conglomeration of accompaniment that is impossible to resist. My favorite tracks are the title track and “The Rip”. “The Rip” is a faster paced song with comforting percussion to back up its main tones, and the lyrics are charming and uplifting. Overall the album was really good, cohesive, and fun to listen to. I am really excited to see what else The Brinks come up with in their musical career, I’m sure it’ll be a long and successful one based on what I’ve heard so far.
