Gengahr – She’s A Witch EP

Straight out of London, Gengahr (not to be confused with Gengar) is an indie band that I find worth watching for in the future. She’s A Witch is their first EP, and it certainly is enough to hold my attention until they release their first full-length. Three of the four songs are excruciatingly captivating—and the fourth isn’t necessarily bad, either. This band’s sound isn’t quite unique, as the singer seems to have Mark Foster’s voice and the first song on the EP actually sounds pretty similar to Foster the People’s most recent release. What sets Gengahr apart are the obvious ties their sound still has to rock; Gengahr seems more grounded, more real. And, at 13 minutes in length, how could you not give She’s A Witch a listen?
